Long time jamming partners JB Diamond (Bon) and Sideshow Bob (Angus) decided that the time was right to get a tribute band together that really knows how to rock. AC/DC was an easy choice as the these 2 rockers grew up listening to early AC/DC and played a lot of the tunes in different bands over the years. After listening to their friends and family pleading for them to form an AC/DC tribute band the 2 wayward rock and roll maniacs put the word out. Answering the call almost immediately was Dennis Da Menace and his thundering bass. Da Menace wasted no time and in filling the Cliff/Mark role. After a couple of lineup changes, Riffman Rob stepped in as the great Malcolm Young after years of gigging with Righteous Sire among other projects. The boys had one more slot to fill when Rick Da Crusher answered the call. Rick has been playing drums in rock bands in the Napa Valley for years. High Voltage recorded a brilliant 3 song demo and has been gigging ever since. As things go, Rick departed for a little while and former Hard Driver drummer Glenn "Da Manimal" came on board. Former Powerage Angus, Joey V. has recently joined High Voltage to play the role of Angus Young since Sideshow Bob got busy with "real life". Rick Da Crusher is also back with the band and playing great!. The goal to have "interchangeable parts" for the band so we do not have to turn down shows when someone is not available is in full swing. High Voltage remains true to the Bon Years but has also started to play a bunch of tunes from Back in Black album which the crowds love.
