Highway 9 (H9) Productions was formed and founded by Sean O’Sullivan in 2002. At a very young age of 8 he found his niche and fervor for the guitar, which has lead him to discover the depth and commitment in music. Sean holds a strong passion in helping other artists create their perfect sound in the field of Sound Production. H9 Productions has a unique, quiet and relaxing setting to suit any artist/band in the comfort of a professional space.
By drawing upon a diverse networking base, many more valuable services can be offered under the H9 Productions umbrella. This wealth of accessible industry talent is the result of a combined 20 years of establishing and building relationships; an ongoing mission and great enjoyment.
Sean O'Sullivan has a very reputable performing and recording history, with experience playing a variety of instruments and diverse musical styles. From here he has progressed naturally into roles on the professional side of the industry, giving each artist full dedication to enhance the very best quality in every performer.
The location of H9 Productions is Ringwood, Victoria, 30mins from the CBD. It is a relaxed atmosphere among all the amenities with plenty of room throughout two buildings; ample parking & load-in space, and of course a spa!
On site there are two recording environments with HD Pro Tools rigs. Both rooms feature variable acoustics. For travelling artists, accommodation can be arranged at the Comfort Inn, adjacent to the site.
H9 Productions can cater for one-off recordings right through to Studio Albums with complete post-production representation, management & strategic marketing. Please contact the Studio to arrange an option to suit your budget & needs.

REVIEW FROM TSUNAMI STREET PRESS, QLD - "Double Dragon are now one of the superior metal acts in the country, but with only two EPs behind their name, they were definitely due for a debut album. ‘Devastator’ is professional and hard-hitting, with head-crushing songs like 'The Possessed' and 'Choose Your Poison' confirming they have come a long way since their previous EP, ‘Scars of Fire’, which is what they have been touring off for the past couple of years. ‘Devastator’ is faster and far more creative, changing in and out of genres with singer Lee sounding somewhat like Opeth's Mikael Åkerfeldt on the soothing yet powerful track 'Black Sails of Armageddon'. Double Dragon have shown what they are capable with this release and that there is much more to come from them in the future (Matt).
