The Highwind start during the summer 2003 (with the name Whisper) from the
meeting of five young musicians already present in Civitavecchia rock-scene,that is: Dario Morgillo (keyboards), Nunzio Sannino (guitar), Simone D’Alessandri (bass), Matteo Santori (drumms), Enrico Giannacco (vocals). Each of them with his own musical-background and everyone willing to play heavy-metal. Besides a remarkable covers set-list (including songs of Iron Maiden, Whitesnake and Rainbow), the five-piece makes a personal repertory where the different musical influences of the components converge. In 2005 the band realizes its first demo, "The flash and the beauty", recorded and mixed at Flavio Scipione’s Weackness Studio. Soon after Alessandro Magarò; replaces Matteo Santori at drumms and so begins an intense live activity in Rome and Viterbo areas, where the band playes in music halls such as "Stazione Birra" and "Alkatraz". In 2006 also A.Magarò leeaves and is replaced by Ruben Ramirez, with whom the band immediately finds the perfect balance. After changing the name into Highwind the band realizes the second demo,"Marching on".
Per cause di forza maggiore, l'UNDERWORLD FEST è costretto a tornare all'originaria location... quindi presso LA LUCCIOLA (via del Mare 199, Pomezia - RM)... Ci scusiamo con le bands e con tutti quelli che ci hanno e ci stanno supportando (ALLA GRANDISSIMA!), promuovendo l'evento...
Comunque ragazzi, la "solfa" non cambia! Il programma rimane medesimo, e rimane invariata anche la garanzia dello SVOLGIMENTO DEL FESTIVAL ANCHE IN CASO DI PIOGGIA!!!
