Infatti Hilary e' sempre andata avanti con dignita' dal suo debutto nel 2001 in TV con “Lizzie McGuire”, e attraverso i successi sul grande schermo come “Cinderella Story” e “Una Scatenata Dozzina”, e alla sua carriera da cantante multi-platino, con più di 13 milioni di copie vendute. Ora Hilary con la sua consueta classe e' pronta a schizzare ai vertici di tutte le classifiche con il suo nuovo album "DIGNITY".
A 19 anni, Hilary è maturata come cantante e cantautrice. Hilary ha co-scritto tutte le canzoni di “Dignity”, puntando sempre in alto e alla fine producendo un album pieno di effetto e profondita'. Per realizzare il nuovo album si e' unita alla stesura dei testi con la vincitrice dei Grammy-Award: Kara Dioguardi (Gwen Stefani, Pussycat Dolls, Enrique, Iglesias, Kelly Clarkson), e collaborato con produttori come Chico Bennett & Richard Vission (Madonna, Usher, Killers), Tim & Bob (Nas, Madonna, Jennifer Lopez), Vada Nobles (Rihanna, Lauryn Hill, Faith Evans, Natasha Bedingfield, Warren G), Fredwrecke (Snoop Dog, Eminem, Fergi) Will.I.Am e Rhett Lawrence.
Nei titoli delle canzoni, lei parla delle sue esperienze negli ultumi due anni e fa osservazioni sulla sua vita a los angeles e di tutto cio' che le e' intorno.
E'nativa di Houston, Hilary Duff ha ottenuto un riconoscimento nel 2001 come protagonista nella serie di Disney Channel:”Lizzie McGuire”. Nel maggio del 2003 ha portato il suo “carattere” al grande schermo con la Walt Disney Pictures “Lizzie McGuire-Da Liceale a Pop star”. Sucessivamente continuò come co-protagonista nei film “Agente Cody Banks”, “Una Scatenata Dozzina” e
come protagonista nelle commedie “Cinderella Story”, “Nata Per Vincere”, “The Perfect Man”, e “Material Girls”.
Il suo CD di debutto: “Metamorphosis” è stato 4 volte disco di platino, seguito dall’album “Hilary Duff” e “Most Wanted” entrambi vendettero 3 milioni di copie. Hilary ha scalato le classifiche nella Top 40 con le hit “So Yesterday”, “Come Clean”, “Fly”, e “Wake Up”. Il CD “Most Wanted” fu il suo secondo debutto alla prima posizione e rimase primo per 2 settimane. Con “Most Wanted” Hilary cominciò a sperimentare di più il suo stile e la sua musica come puoi vedere nei suoi video “Wake Up” dove indossava parrucche e look diversi e in “Beat Of My Heart” dove iniziava a favorire più musica dance e battiti ritmici.
Hilary ha in atto dei progetti di film molto eccitanti quest’anno, come “War, Inc.” (protagonisti John Cusack, Sir Ben Kingsley e Marisa Tomei) e il film d’animazione “Foodfight”. Hilary recentemente ha rilasciato il suo profumo “With Love”, il video pubblicitario è girato dalla celebrità mondiale Matthew Raiston. Ma la sua musica – e il suo intraprendente tour - rimangono il centro dei suoi pensieri.Infatti ora dice di più molto di piu con la sua musica e con dignita'.

We publish this petition pretendig to speak in name of all Hilary Duff's fans, particularly the European fans. We all have been supporting Hilary for years, in every way we could do this, often with great efforts and spending a lot of time and energy to help her reach the success she deserved in Europe too. ... We could never listen to "Dignity"'s song live, in fact the "Dignity WORLD Tour", that according to its name should have taken place everywhere in the world, unbelievably didn't take place in Europe. But the worst thing was the way thay played along with us: in fact in summer 2007 it was told us everything about the european tour, that shoud have taken place in november. They told us when and even where it was set: everything seemed to be organised. But something went wrong and it was told us to wait some months for the world tour to begin because of some problems. We accepted this, because I think we are good fans, but now we discover that the tour it's over and there won't be any date in Europe... We feel really disappointed and disenchanted for this decision, in fact we think it wasn't fair to set the dates and, after postponing them, annul the whole European part of the tour. It wasn't fair because this is NOT a professional behaviour and because European fans, according to what I've said, didn't deserve such an unkind decision. So this petition aim is to officially ask "Hollywood Records" and Hilary Duff's Management to give us the "Dignity European Tour" we could never have. ...
