Different experiments, most of which currently rest within the Jazz idiom. Standards; Performances of tunes by Brecker, Hancock, Shorter, Henderson; experimental arrangements of classic and contemporary artists [Radiohead, Stevie Wonder, Mel Tormè]; and originals. The name Hilbert's Hotel comes from the great mathematician Hilbert's proof involving a Hotel with infinite rooms. Such a hotel could never exist in a finite universe, but as a rudimentary concept it allowed Hilbert to prove uncanny things about the nature of infinity. We chose this concept as our band name because Music, especially Jazz, is a limitless medium. We thrive on the opportunity to explore it and push our understanding of it.
