was able to speak to me.
I'm still trying to sit down and listen and learn - so I don't loose contact with music-history.
I'm still trying to show my respect to all the great musicians who have led the way and made the music-history so rich.
I'm still trying to find out how to become a good storyteller.

Living in the Southern part of Norway. The tempo down here is very laidback, something that suits me perfectly.
Studied music for many years with piano as my main instrument and singing as my second choice. Went to Oslo and studied classical music at Barratt-Dues Music Institute with piano as my main instrument. Grown up in a family where all of us were playing an instrument, and the main interests were jazz and classical music.
My father taught me to play the alto saxophone and the clarinet, two instruments I played for 10 - 15 years.
Studied acting.
Vocal lessons with some of the greatest jazz singers.
Taught for some years at Vest-Agder Music Concervatorium.
Formed Norsk Jazzforlag - the only Norwegian Publishing Company for Norwegian jazz (sheet music) and formed the record company Ponca Jazz Records the year after. I don't get rich when it comes to money - it's very idealistic, but I do get rich in many other ways by doing this.
As an actress I have acted in many different plays like: Piaf (leading actress), Brel (cabaret), Fugleleskerne (Bjoernebo) a.o.
Recorded 5 solo-album:
"'Round Chet's Midnight" - a tribute to Chet Baker (1999) - The album of the year in Norway's jazz magazine "Jazznytt". Click my blog to read more.
"Playsong - The music of Bill Evans - a tribute to Bill Evans (2001) - The album of the year in Norway's jazz magazine "Jazznytt". Click my blog to read more.
"Hildes bossaHefte" - my only Norwegian album (2003) - a tribute to the great Brazilian composers.
"On The Corner" - my memory album - (2006). Click my blog to read more.
