You might be a Hill Billy if you answer yes to any of the following:

('hil 'bil-ee) 1. Someone who shoots "varmits" with his/her rifle and square-dances in the wee hours of the morning, often at "hoedowns". They say words like "spiffy" and "nifty" and enjoy playing the banjo and harmonica. They typically wear overalls with one of the straps undone, straw hat, and no shoes and have a piece of straw hanging outta their mouth. And when they laugh, they dont say hahaha, they say "ahurhur!"
(ex. "hillbilly" A: Howdy Bobby joe! Ready to go a varmint huntin'? "hillbilly" B: Sho nuff cuzzin!)

2. Someone who has a nice little band containing a wash board, a whiskey jug, and two spoons. Also this person doesn't appreciate when someone is PLAYIN POSSUM.
(ex. "Ya bettah not be playin possum wit me boy!")

3. Person from deep South with low IQ and poorly educated. Close cousin to the Redneck and Hick. Most commonly found in the hills. Hillbillies commonly have southern accents.
(ex. "How come every internet adress begins with Dubya?")

4. Someone better educated and more entrepenueral than the average resident of a specific place.
(ex. You hillbillies are taking over the place)

5. Anyone who lacks suffistication, and hates city people
(ex. I am a hillbilly)
