Hillgrass Bluebilly Tennessee (HBE TENN) is under construction. HBE TENN is owned by HBE Headquarters (HQ). HBE is taking over american roots music and entertainment and is moving into to all areas of the U.S. where american roots music is misrepresented or that particular city has zero structure, and is not known for music. Tennesse has been high on the list, due to their abundance of greasers that look like our grandpas did, and hellbillys, two sticks in our craw. HBE TENN is here to let you know that there is hope in music with conviction, there is touring bands where heart resides over skill. Heart over skill, music that aint trying to sell you something, as well as GIVES you something to go home with, everytime. We do not support the tuffabillys, who think they believe in satan, or think have been "through" hell and use their image and music as an outside influence to the public to attract loser asses. In light of that, we do not attract bullies, hellbillys, jackasses, or people trying to ruin everyone elses good time. Our events are not for the who's who's, and the look at me's, they won't "get it" anyways, and will stop showing up to events after a few visits. We are the filter, pump and motor of an un-stoppable force that will continue to bring the working class of Tennessee the best live concerts and events for your time and money. Soon, just like Phoenix, Ft. Wayne, Austin and soon to be Memphis, Chattanooga and Nashville and all the lil cities that surround them, it wont be worth it to bands, if they can't come play the Hillgrass Bluebilly Event.....watch........
HBE is a record label, booking agency and we find roots music for television and film. We are currently wrapping up our first album which is a double tribute to Hank Williams Sr. and Leadbelly. The album is called HIRAM and HUDDIE, including artists such as BOB LOG III, SCOTT H. BIRAM, WAYNE "THE TRAIN" HANCOCK, POSSESSED BY PAUL JAMES, CHILI COLD BLOOD, TOM VANDENAVOND, C.W. STONEKING, TRUCKSTOP HONEYMOON, REV. PEYTONS BIG DAMN BAND, SODA & MORE. HIRAM and HUDDIE is set to release in July 2008. After HIRAM and HUDDIE, we will be releasing POSSESSED BY PAUL JAMES third album before the end of 2008. We are currently working on another album, JR and RL, a double tribute to Johnny Cash & R.L. Burnside due out late 2008 / early 2009.
In the summer of 2008 ( July / August ), HILLGRASS BLUEBILLY ENTERTAINMENT is going on their first North America tour with BOB LOG III, SCOTT H. BIRAM and POSSESSED BY PAUL JAMES. We will post the concert dates in FEB / MARCH 2008. It will be supporting the HIRAM and HUDDIE CD, to be released in July 2008.
