In Early 2006, Nadia and Shannon attempted to start a band. At that point, they didn't know of any female guitarists so decided their band would be open to anyone.
Fortunatley, a close friend started dating a girl named Brooke. Brooke had her friend Nikole who played drums --- which is where it all began.

Nadia, Shannon, Nikole and Brooke played a total of three shows together in May, June and July. There was too much of a musical difference with Brooke and the other three girls. Also, schedules conflicted. Nadia, Shannon and Nikole decided to look for a new guitarist and let Brooke go. However, she didn't handle this well. The three girls did not want to lose a friendship over it-- but unfortunatley they did. Brooke is no longer associated with Nadia, Shannon or Nikole. A name change was needed...
Hillside!
In came Michelle- Shannons best friend. She would now be playing keyboards for Hillside. Something was missing though... they wanted a new guitarist. After weeks and weeks of searching, Hillside had found Kristia. Kristia knew Shannon and Michelle for a little over a year at this point and decided to take the shot and ask her. She jammed with Hillside and they accepted her. A few months later, she left for other reasons.

In an effort to find talented Artists Sound Pollution Productions will be offering a recording to any original band or recording artists interested. The deal is simple. Each artist or group will be given a 3 hour block of studio time to record one song at our studio. We will also be featuring the best songs on an upcoming compilation. If you are serious about your music and need a new recording for your myspace page or for promotion you won't find a better deal. Please include your email address in your reply since the myspace email system is not always reliable. If you have any questions feel free to ask. Again this is a serious offer for serious musicians.
Each group will be required to pay $50 in advance to prevent cancellations and to weed out the deadbeats. Not bad considering the normal hourly rate is $65 per hour.
