關於我: Stolis Hadjicharalambous (Writter/ Director/ Editor)
I have been a filmmaker since my early years at Msgr. McClancy Memorial High School where I honed my filmmaking skills by writing, directing, and editing many short films and music videos. Some of these shorts helped earnd myself the Filmmaker of the Year award two years in row. No other student has since achieved this honor.
I have directed and edited my own shorts, some of which include School..s Out, Bad Day and the award nominated Canto I However, it is Alan Rowe Kelly..s The Blood Shed that does mark Stolis.. feature film editing debut and is currently editing Alan Rowe Kelly..s terrifying short film A Far Cry From Home. This spring Stolis will then lend his talents to edit Bart Mastronardi..s feature film, the psychological horror film, Vindication.
Currently I have completed my new short film Ding Dong Date, a comedy about a down on his lucky teenager named Mikey (played by Michael Coyne) who goes on a blind date only to encounter many strange characters whom he believes is his date.
I have also begun wrapping production on his own directorial feature film debut the independent action thriller Crossed.
CROSSED is an independent action/thriller by first time feature director Stolis Hadjicharalambous (editor of Alan Rowe Kelly..s The Blood Shed and Bart Mastronardi..s Vindication). Written by Hadjicharalambous and Christopher Otis, CROSSED is the story of a young hitman named Frank Archer (Christopher Otis), who rises through the ranks of a seedy underworld dominated by upstart crime boss Borriello (Henry Borriello). Still living up to the legacy of his father, Frank Archer searches for the truth about his haunted past, eventually crossing him with a sadistic assassin known only as ..The Ripper.. (Javier Rodriguez).
Also supporting the story is Archer..s love interest, played by beautiful Ashley Bernardes, Alan Rowe Kelly (I..ll Bury You Tomorrow and The Blood Shed) as the arms dealer Ed helping Archer out, and Jerry Murdock as Archer's father. The film's special affects are provided by Henry Borriello with cinematrography by Bart Mastronardi (DP) and Dominick Sivilli (grip) and an original score by Billy Archiello (Vindication).
When away from his editing suite, Stolis attends the prestigious School of Visual Arts in New York City to further pursue his education in film studies.
