The musical talents of Himalaya rise up to reach for the sky like the mountains of Tibet for which the group is appropriately named. Their musical fire has ignited stages throughout the US market for over 10 years. Their first CD release, Friend to Friend, featured a stellar line-up of smoking original compositions with a little bit of something for every taste. Himalaya, composed of Morris Beeks – Keyboards, Landers Pierce – Percussion, Jeffrey B. Suttles – Drums, Paul Weber – Saxophone and Erick Burdette on Bass, has performed with jazz greats such as Poncho Sanchez, Vesta, Fatburger, Billy Mitchell, Acoustic Alchemy, Cedar Walton, Les McCann and Najee, just to name a few. The recent re-release of Friend to Friend rekindles the excitement and power of this awesome group of musicians.

Music is a moral law. It gives soul to the universe, wings to the mind, flight to the imagination, and charm and gaiety to life and to everything ~ Plato

There are recurring themes in life, only the players change. Here I commence on a personal quest of integrative thinking that guides and directs my expanding perspective of the music industry. Connecting with your brilliance and significance in history is invigorating. Therefore, I cannot confine my attention. It’s a honor to be amidst Legends..past, present, and future.
