ほんわりポップをお届けするバンド「ひまわりラヂオ」。2006年7月にアメリカ合衆国・ボストンにて結成。2007年7月に帰国し、日本での演奏活動を本格的に開始。「さやか」の優しく包み込むようなヴォーカル、「としお」の繊細で味わい深いドラム・パーカッションは、ぬくもりのあるサウンドを生み出している。歌詞に込められたメッセージは、暖かく力強く、思いを届けることへのこだわりが感じられる。また、ライヴに登場する「ヘンテコ」な楽器たちや、ときに観客をも演奏者にしてしまう独特なライヴパフォーマンスは必見。ポップでありながらどこかワールドなサウンドに、個性的な日本語が踊る。ほのぼのとしていながら、骨太。「ひまわりラヂオ」サウンドはいつも心地よい風を届けてくれる。
