After months of long-distance mixing and an untold of number of obstacles, Hindsight prepares to release its much anticipated EP entitled “Underneath the Surface”; an album consisting of seven tracks that highlight the bands growth as musicians and songwriters.
In the 3 ½ years since the formation of the band, its four members (Matt Fowler –Vocals, James Guajardo- Drums, Ross Brownlee- Guitar, and Nick Brownlee- Bass) have strived to develop and refine a sound that is unique and all their own. A sound that is, at times, brutally heavy and, in an instant, unexpectedly subtle and melodic. A masterful combination of powerful vocals, crushing guitar riffs, blazing solos, thunderous bass, technical drumming, and memorable choruses leaves the listener in awe of the band’s raw power and finesse.
Hindsight’s music smashes through the boundaries that have defined the modern rock genre. Their dynamic ebb and flow of heavy guitar and beautiful melodies appeals to a wide fan base and has earned them a spot as one of South Texas’ premiere hard rock acts.
The band has used this commercial acceptability to gain a massive following in its local music scene; sharing the stage with major-label bands such as Hinder, Hurt, Black Light Burns, Faktion, Lynam, Vallejo, The Deaf Pedestrians, Socialburn, Neverset and others.
With the upcoming release of their first studio album, the members of Hindsight are beginning to focus their attention on booking live shows and continue to reach out to new fans, determined to attract major-label attention. After years of hard work and dedication, a bright future begins to shine on the band. With no signs of slowing down, Hindsight prepares for bigger opportunities ahead.
