“The grown drum and bugle corps of elementary school”
These are the best words to describe us; Hinemos. (Note: In Japan, only elementary school students belong to drum and bugle corps.)
hinemos was formed in 2004 by Tatta and Pechka. We now have 11 members including them. Our music is like an overturned toy box. It sounds simple-complex, naive-wily, and silent-noisy. We combine various instruments in our plays; percussion, recorder, saxophone, trombone, tuba, piano accordion, fiddle, ukulele, piano, guitar, melodica, balloonica, toy piano, musical saw, Japanese koto, xylophone, washboard, and toys. Even various daily goods are used as instruments!
We play at not only live music clubs but also temple festivals, kindergartens, wendy house and many strange but lovely festivals... in all places.
Come to watch our performance and have a pleasant time.
