Hey, thanks for visiting! I am a pop-rock singer-songwriter. You are listening to songs from my first two cds, produced by Danny Shaffer at Velvet Shirt Studios in Chicago. They are both on my indie label, Hipchick Records. My new music (currently in the works) is quirky and acoustic, written mostly on piano with some songs written on acoustic guitar. I'm heavily influenced by artists with whom I draw no comparisons - Stevie Wonder, Aretha, Chaka, Joni Mitchell, Rickie Lee Jones (well...), XTC and Kate Bush - and I am a professionally hired vocalist for lots of bands. I love to play live. I studied theatre at Northwestern and have been in about 50 commercials, as well as some tv shows and movies (a few listings are on imdb). My band has won some contests and awards, and I have two cds available here and on cdbaby.com. I hope you enjoy the music. Stay tuned for newer songs coming Fall 2009.
