Belgian dj’s Rob n Zoopsie aka wicked Electro-Italo-Disco duo The Revolving Eyes have already unleashed a remarked series of EPs on their own Moderne imprint, played by everyone from Ewan Pearson to DFA’s Tim Sweeney and the Glimmers, but here’s their best yet, two mid-tempo über musical italo stompers, with an enormous remix from Zongamin’s Midnight Mike who has delivered a total evil, minimal-flecked anthem, as an hommage to Panorama Bar in Berlin. The other great bonus of the sampler comes with an unreleased Paul Woolford remix of 'The Theme' from Ed Banger’s Vicarious Bliss. This is the welcome return of Brett Johnson on Hi-Phen with a killer EP. Genuinely blurring boundaries between house and techno, with a solid sense of psychedelism and freshness, this 3tracker shows Brett talents once again.
