Hip-Hop for Democracy

About me:

.. Hip Hop for Democracy is a non-partisan, non-profit organization born out of the lack of education & awareness of the democratic process in our country, particularly amongst youth of color. Hip Hop is the vehicle through which we explain the democratic process in a manner palatable to our audience. We seek to fill the void left by the innumerable amount of organizations that encourage voter participation every election without fully educating the public on the democratic process. We feel that current efforts to encourage democratic participation, which may be effective in achieving turnout, are incomplete without comprehensive voter education, training, and cultivation.
