HipHopNews.de is Germany's No.1 in Underground HipHop and Rap co-founded by Brooklyn (NYC) born Edward Sizzerhand who has won a number of renown competitions as a DJ and together with his hip hop group Square One performed in collaboration with American artists in Europe.
But HipHopNews.de is not only a webzine focusing in Underground HipHop and Rap, it also owns an independent hip hop record label called "OnTheMix Records". Through the publication of several Mixtapes, the website hiphopnews.de and its tape label OnTheMix Records have reached a high level of professional recognition.

OnTheMix Records History

Based in Munich, On The Mix Records is Germany's tape label No.1 in underground hiphop and rap. The label is owned by hiphopnews.de and was established in 1996 by Edward Sizzerhand. Some of the artists, deejays and producers which are included on this label are DJ Edward Sizzerhand, DJ Sean, DJ Reen and Mighty Mic. Other artists, such as DJ Oz, DJ Man at Arms, Spill, Sir Cut, DJ Web, DJ K-One, Rob Reece and M-Tech who has won the German DMC championship 2002 have done or are planning to do joint projects with On The Mix. Through the publication of several Mixtapes, the independent label has reached a high level of professional recognition.
In the past, the label worked together with djs such as M-Tech, Rob Reece, Spill, Sir Cut, DJ Web and K-One, and artists such as 7L, A.G., Akir, Alchemist, Big Noyd, Big Pooh (Little Brother), Blaq Poet, Buckshot, Chapter 13, DJ Muggs (Cypress Hill), DJ Premier, D/R Period, Jus Allah and Vinnie Paz (Jedi Mind Tricks), Madlib, Necro, O.C (D.I.T.C.), Prodigy (Mobb Deep), Sean Price, Slum Village, Steele, The Rugged Man, Verb & Antidote ...
