HHP has been one of South Africa's leading indeginious Hip Hop artist for many years already. 9years to be exact. His style of music is known as Motswako, which means "mixture" in one of South Africa's languages setswana. He shares a market with artist like Tuks, Morafe, Molemi etc. If you enjoy the witty, funky, hard and conscious music of HHP, you have to also catch him with his 12piece band. The band consists of 6 ladies (Bass player, Alto Sax, Trombone, Keyboard, 2 backing singers) and 6 guys(Guitarist, Keyboards, Drums, 2 backing singers and myself, the rapper). We've shared the stage with the likes of Will Downing, Angelina Kidjo, Jamie Cullum, Saul Williams,Snoop Dogg but to name a few internationally. Locally we've had the privilage of playing with the likes of Kwani Experience, Ringo, Bongo Maffin, Mapumba and many more.

It has begun so well. It was a historical moment in America. Obama was elected as the first coloured president in history; he did promise a lot of changes. Little time ago he has broken his promise with his signature to continue wars in middle east. With this step he has dissapointed a lot of people in the world - not only Americans - who did believe in him. Who did believe in what he did promise, who did believe that he will bring some needed changes. What are his daughters thinking of their father? Politic is a hard business. I respect all those who are facing the responsability to lead a nation. But I believe also, that right there is a big mistake. Politicians should not being involved in other responsabilities than in politic, I mean politicians should represent the interest of their nation, the interest of the common people! Instead of that many of them are involved in to business, leading an enterprise or even a great intercontinental trust. But these interests - that's what I am thinking - are missleading them into false decicions followed by consequences for the whole nation. The government should replace those politicians who are involved in deception maneuvers, chicaneries and power plays by politicians who really care about the common people (included the poor, of course!), about the nation, the SISWE! I am dreaming, I know, because those who would care about the nation, most probably don't have the money to campaign. And as in all corners of the world the need or even lust of money is like a stronghold, changes are just dreams which dissapears like mists. But I still have some grains of hope and they will grow like big trees and bringing fruit...and besides other activities I will also use this page to plant some seeds...
