HHP has been one of South Africa's leading indeginious Hip Hop artist for many years already. 9years to be exact. His style of music is known as Motswako, which means "mixture" in one of South Africa's languages setswana. He shares a market with artist like Tuks, Morafe, Molemi etc. If you enjoy the witty, funky, hard and conscious music of HHP, you have to also catch him with his 12piece band. The band consists of 6 ladies (Bass player, Alto Sax, Trombone, Keyboard, 2 backing singers) and 6 guys(Guitarist, Keyboards, Drums, 2 backing singers and myself, the rapper). We've shared the stage with the likes of Will Downing, Angelina Kidjo, Jamie Cullum, Saul Williams,Snoop Dogg but to name a few internationally. Locally we've had the privilage of playing with the likes of Kwani Experience, Ringo, Bongo Maffin, Mapumba and many more.

This is just a simple thought of how we could make this world a better place, if we want to. I think the key is that we find ourselves, to reflect honestly - without deceiving ourselves - about our own reactions. Not everything is under our own control, but most of it. Imagine for instance your child accidently overturns his hot chocolate and it rins from the breakfest table on your suit. The your child overturned his beverage wasn't under your control, but your reaction! You decide yourself how you react, the consequences will just follow. By the way, I hear so many people asking why God allows so much suffering? It isn't God who allows that - it is our own decision! Almost everything what happens to us depends of the way how we are reacting. So, just show some more love to your brothers and sisters, it does not mind how they treat you, but how you react.
Why don't people treat each other in a better way - with more love and respect? I believe this is the key to make this world a better place. So, please, show some love and appreciation to your brothers and sisters - I don't mean buying some gifts, but to treat each other in a different way with true love and respect!
This is just an example how easy people can be manipulated by Babylon System to become useful idiots.
Music is life and life is music. But how it is with commercial music? Can we still feel the joy of life there or does it only seem „cool“? Is it still art or just for useful idiots?
Fashion is by the brands. Imagine how many people agree to pay tooo much for clothes just for wearing brand-name clothes? I mean instead of pay so much for brands-name clothes they should rather get paid by the brands for the (unwanted?) publicity they do in the street;-) and that’s why I call them useful idiots.
In Europe many say that the US Americans are superficial while (almost?) everywhere in Europe US lifestyle (fahsion, commercial music etc.) is copied. How else could I define them if not as useful idiots? In fact all those who are not true but trying to be "cool" are useful idiots for Babylon System. Unfortunately most - very most - people living in this world are like that otherwise the system would not work like that...
