Hiplash derives influences from all over! Starting with Fat Chance Belly Dance's format, Hiplash has also branched out to include influence from Unmata, the Indigo, Domba, Zahra Zuhair, Robyn Friend, as well as incorporating Blume's background in ballet.

Hiplash is an American Tribal Style (and sometimes Fusion) Belly Dance troupe. If Hiplash was any cooler, none of us would have to worry about global warming. Under the direction of Faizeh, these beautiful women pool their collective decades of performance experience to create something so traditional yet innovative, you'll wonder if you've entered some bohemian state of nirvana.
