OUR INTENTION Hipnautica is an organic clan of artists, musicians, and creative souls which work together to deliver stylist events based around concepts set forth by Sky - a long standing austin musician and artist. Since Hipnautica is primarly based on organically controlled sequences the music stands on a solid foundation but ever changing and adaptive. This alternative shift from the "typical band" paradigm allows for more spontaneous collaboration but with focus and direction to help maintain the original intention of each song and the spacial relationship to each performance.
OUR CENTRAL CORE - "The Hipnautica Clan"
Based in Austin we established a core group on October Friday the 13th at Elysium. This currently includes Pixie & Predictus de Mortum remain a part of this central core, while Inca and Erik are focusing on other areas. However we are currently interviewing new members and experimenting with a more permanent clan... with accent dancers, performance artists, guest musicians, and makeup artists strengthening the core. Everyone that works with Hipnautica has some influence and creative drive which dramatically helps motivate Sky to continuously push new boundaries and explore new folds in the creative landscape. The core group profoundly help inspire and reshape the music, visuals, and performances. As other musicians, dancers and creatives are inspired to join forces, Sky redefines Hipnautica to fit their talents while strengthening his original intentions. If you are inspired by Hipnautica and would like to share a stage with us, contact us and let us know what you are thinking - perhaps we will be open to your collaborative energy.

Hipnautica is multifaceted & diverse. It is a musical chameleon of sorts, seamlessly transcending genres such as ( electronica / ebm / gothic / techno industrial / experimental / world beat / dub / raggaeton / house ). We strive as all artists to create a new tone and are often referred to as "Dark World Trance", "Necromonic Trance" , "Dark World Jazz" and at other times we are undescribable. It's our ultimate goal to share with the world an eclectic and entertaining experience beyond music. Hipnautica is intended to be an ultra-sensory experience pushing both visual, performance, theatric, musical, lyrical, and spoken word. If you are open to possibilites you will see there are no constraints within and why should there be. Exploraton is the key to creative diversity.
