About me:

Heck, here's a list:

I know all the words to the song, Bobbie Magee.

I can cook a mean pot of clam chowder.

I collect sea glass.

I love to write.

I have just finished my first children's book.

I'm now working on a book about my

family's lighthouse heritage.

I am an irritating morning person (after coffee).

I eat sea algae.

I was born in the summer of love.

And I like toads.

Who I'd like to meet:

Let's see...

People who I would like to meet:

Those people who inspire.

Gandhi and God are pretty much at the top of the list.

Perhaps not in that order though.

I totally luv meeting people who make me laugh.

Nothing is better than a good sense of humor

and a kick butt smile :)

I am always open to meeting people who make a difference

in the lives of others.

Open hearts and open arms change the world.

Poetstock 2009!
Never before has this been done, and hopefully it will be successfully repeated after this all over the world, again and again….

Our aim is to bring together poets from all over, who produce all genres of poetry for a night of mingling, poetry, shameless self promotion….  Each poet will have the poetry to read their work on stage, sell their work to those who would like to buy, and mingle with the best poets of our generation.

It will be held on Saturday, July 11, 2009 at 9 PM at STUDIO PARK; 1519 Carroll Dr
Atlanta, GA 30318-3605

And the owner of STUDIO PARK in Atlanta has been gracious enough to open his doors to us without charging us ANYTHING!!!

Guys, you seriously CAN’T miss this~you HAVE to be there!  It is the chance of the lifetime, and the bigger we make it, the more attention we poets will get.

Poetry is NOT dead~let’s show the world that it is living and breathing~

Don’t forget to bring your Books, CDs and/or original artwork to sell!

***BTW~we are looking for a talented DJ to spin between reads~so if you have what it takes or know someone who does, please email me.
****ALL are welcome!  Whether you are a poet, or love poetry, we hope you will all come, tell your friends about it, and your friends’ friends-blog it, bulletin it, email it, scream about it from the rooftops~Whatever it takes!!!

In case I hit the road in a sudden blast of craziness or road trip to run around the gulf beach for awhile; I thought about you and your way cool style. Just freakin busy and miss visiting with you. If I get to fooling around the red coral dreams or catch myself in a net of star fish, I need you to know your a best friend. Also, me being a bit off the wall eccentric I want you to know that you have really made me smile. It is not so much of what we say...it is about knowing our own hearts in a laugh. One only you and I noticed. I am very happy we are friends. Did you know that some mornings and at first light, I rub my eyes and play in deep pools of words that tease? Seriously. Even before coffee. Most of the time the poems are written only for you. That my sweet friend is really true. Free Love. Please allow the bear to care. I painted late into the morning. I will be awake a few hours after just going to bed and my fingers and hands are smudged in rainbow colors. It is the love for painting. You should know that about me as we are true friends. In few weeks I may be headed to Siesta Keys Florida to explore living on the south gulf beach for awhile. It is wednesday and I am just listening to a little James Taylor and thanking you for the miracles of your smile. I am very happy we met and by the way, Ive always like your style. You have been a great inspiration in my life. Well I better jet for now, but, lets catch up soon. I like us being friends.

Hi Dawn,

Here is the second part of our “My Desire” Trilogy of cards.
It does contain material of an adult nature.
Please visit http://www.renee-paul.com/ to see the high quality picture resolution and the poem as it should be.
My Desire (Part 3) is entitled “Intimacy” and will be here soon.

“My Desire.” Part 2. “Touch.”

“Through the woodland glade
You appeared, a personification, of everything beautifully feminine
A glorious Goddess, man made, but designed with Heavenly grace.
You smiled and walked towards me.
Kissed me with your sensual, soft, succulent lips
Ran your finger tips down my back and up my spine
The scent of your body was unique
A magnificent fragrance of female hormones
With a faint touch of honeysuckle, cinnamon and patchouli
I would never forget this moment in time
Your skin had the exquisite texture of warmed porcelain
Your eyes, your hair, where passion would not dare to go
I touched you
You pushed me back.
”No”.
I was yours and if you were mine
It would be on your terms in your time.
You danced with me
You danced for me
A pirouette that twirled us to the floor.
You sat astride me, caressed me, undressed me
Consumed me, I had never felt like this before.
The way you moved on me was ecstasy
The perfect rhythm and I never wanted to let this go.
You played me like a guitar, every passionate note
A crescendo of the flamenco.
You whispered
“I wanted you from the very first moment you looked at me.
I burn for you and the power of my love is like a raging sea.
We’ve only just begun.
This time you’re mine.
Your turn will come.”

May love touch your body and soul.
Paul.

Hi Dawn,

I hope you like the first part of our “My Desire” Trilogy of cards.
My Desire (Part 2) is entitled “Touch” and will be sent out at the end of next week.
An announcement on part 3 will be made soon!
Thank you for your support and encouragement which means so much.

“My Desire”

(Part 1.) “The Look”

“If I lived my life for one moment
It would be for the look you gave me
The smile that saved me from never
Knowing what it would be like for a man
To truly and completely Love.
Your grace, your aura, had the Majesty of an Angel
Guiding me from above
Like a star, my guiding constellation, such elation as
I watched you dance like the flame from
A flickering fire, smouldering, your movement
Beguiling, arousing, seducing
My whole body shivered in the passion of
Your total control over my emotions as they reached my soul.
As the audience threw coins, praise and applause
I waited, breathless, consumed by romance
As you left the stage
You gave me eternity.
With just one glance.”

Wishing you “the look of love.”

Taste the light amber of honey glowing within fairies spreading star dust reflections gentle in wonder, send me to answer her molten lake of secrets unfolding. In these whispers of garden sight I see her winking with firefly lashes. Her eyes emeralds green in ache teased by the mystic place masterfully eternal enchanting the spell bound dark flower. Her gliding wings flirting slippery in dizzy romance to a visitor of celestial streams falling together face upon face. What heat forming mars turns the fighting shrew loose upon the ravens cry while the dove so frail feels with awe. She sings so I must hear her song of echoes deep from strawberry blush covered lips swelling to the drifting edges of once more. Her mockingbird laugh betrays the rebel yell under attack falling in tides shored near love and why under the moon dance limitless with such release enraged far from pain embracing? Challenged, the starwinged adventurer unleashed cavernous storms with her body moving in more than tales of kissing light. Her taste of fate whistling to the corners of rainbow archways come begging love gold and delightful in a weary potion dipped by fingers of hunger. What sight I see in silver glances brushed by and by imitating angels wings yet stubborn never lifting her veil of night. Image of ecstacy dancing as dreamers drunk in beauty laid in service to sacrifice upon the alter of touching rumor. Caterpillars turned butterflies sit with her alone feeding grapes starving for the designed feast of his riddled sight. Their whispering words composed in paints slipping to venus her bed. Together on the bare bones of a mornings window weeping joyful tears in a blue haze to beckon more magic from a fairies magical gaze, these are sacred ways and no more are the empty moments as hearts falling to pieces. Bring forth the radiant feathered crown and the sword to serenade mortals who fear so much. Branded consuming morsels her spell never ceases. Merciful is freedom held ransom to drea

Mother, thank you for this life I now share with others. I understand your teachings are to guide my strength and to spread the heart of love to all I encounter. I have indeed listened to your message and witnessed truth by your own walk in beauty. Your nature is not taken for granted by my sight or by my means to life. I have found by your song life that there is No greater gift to be found within myself, than to be thankful to my own higher power for the journies your voice of nature has led me by abilities to dwell upon this Sacred Ground I share. It is our choice to take the path for the Greater good but, more than that, it is our ultimate responsibility to protect Our Mother Earth and all that dwells upon Her.

Hi Dawn,

Thank you for being there in my life with your wisdom.

Hope you enjoy the new card.

“Charles Bridge”

“I take your faded letter from the folded envelope
A touch tattered and torn.
As I read it every day
Paper worn, paper thin
My Love strong, deep within.
It’s all I have

“Meet me on Charles Bridge
In the early morning.
When it’s safe, I will come to you.
The scent of our love is still in my room.
X (Kiss)”

Everyday at dawn
I walk through the cobbled streets
Of this majestic grandiose city
Step out across the roaring river Vltava
In the hope of us being together
One day as I walk through the early morning light
I know you’ll be there
Once more to share the glorious love
Of days gone by and the passion of the night
The past is gone
The future is ours
Through the misty clouds of daybreak
My heart no longer aches
For my love is here for you
“Wait for me.”
I will
I do.”

Wishing you love and happiness.

HAPPY WEDNESDAY

May 11 2009 12:05 AM

Just before summers bedtime my winter mouth kisses May. Snow and ice no longer enchanting her season. I have come as spring rain to cover you in my heart of warmth clean and sweet. It is your love for nature I wish to meet. Fragile is the adorned touch of ocean light for a whales cry. Mother Earth gifting her bed of pine maple showers filling the essence of rainbows dripping across the midnight sky. We have dressed her in elk skin and dark raven wings feasting upon her sacred window sealed with a ghost of ryhme. She is groomed in the holy lodge by the open beak sewn as a golden goblet pouring cries upon the Grandfather skies. Where is the path of the raven heart that never flies? The mountain curtains of mystery ruled by the purple veil masked by perceptions of time. Hear us calling with fire light stories falling to embers ashed by the tobacco skins. Always native are naked songs laid in fallow wounds and will they forever be mine?
