Hipposonic Studios ran aground on Canadas west coast in 1990 and lives on today with her founder Rob Darch and his hardy crew, in the heart of B.Cs', Vancouver. Since her move in 2003, Hipposonic continues to encourage the footsteps of musical talent from around the world, through her doors and that of her sister studio, Hippowest (nee Mushroom ) Studios. Equipped with an impressive arsenal of outboard gear and mics, the permanent residence of British scholars Solid State Logic and Neve and the renowned guidance of studio designer, John Vrtacic, Hipposonic and 'west have lent their creative hands to many an artist, baring witness to much melodic wonder. With a ghost running things at Mushroom and an amazing list of albums both studios have helped create over the years, Hipposonic lives on as a much cherished recording and mixing facility within the industry.
