Let me take you back in time to a place where Hired Goons was but a feeble dream of several disillusioned teenagers... Once upon a time there was a boy named Dan (vocals, guitar, song writer extreme sex god) He had recently discovered the joy in playing guitar and desperately longed for someone to jam with. Matt (bass, hilarious noise maker, vodka sucker) was a bassist and enjoyed the same kind of music as Dan and thus became bummers. Ant (guitar, super amazing quotes, wasp disliker) was a talented good friend of Matt. it became apparent that dan was not capable of singin and peforming lead guitar at the same time and thus Ant was sucked into the band. The 3 of them had hopes of performing in the upcoming rednose day show at rawlins but alas they had no drummer. Dave (ex last orders drummer) played for us that day, until we eventually met a drummer named Steve who practiced with us before our 1st gig at the charlotte. Steve however *VANISHED* and panic set in. 1 day at rawlins after school we were practising with another hopefull for our failing band, things weren't going to plan at all. HOWEVER an EXTREMELY talented drummer named Elliot (sexuall drummer,super strong man, smoker ) walked by and we asked him to drum a beat to a song dan had written. he passed with flying colours and then became our drummer! All was well with hired goons, we played steady gigs and wrote numerous songs however as of late our beloved drummer left us to achieve greater things at university still eager to continue their dream, hired goons continue to exist without the drummer in hope that one day somebody may be able to fill elliots HUGE shoes ;) We are Hired Goons, We will eliminate your wasps!

We're playing Metal Hammer's "GET IN THE RING" at the London Hammersmith Palais on March 6th. It's a Rockworld TV gig in assosiation with XFM. and we're playin in a boxing ring. Thats about all we know, but its gonna be an absolute fookin riot..... there's 3 other bands on too.
The night is invite only (but it's free) and apparently you need a password to get a ticket. However, we've been asked to invite 150 of our 'crazies' to come cheer us on.....
