A seed was sown in
1997 when Brian Dugas joined Matthew Grieve in the award winning group
Unashamed, which was co-founded by Matt in 1993. As one half of the Unashamed
Quartet they celebrated their faith with thousands and strengthened their
talents as popular performers and recording artists.
After years of
touring with the quartet, Brian and Matt took a short sabbatical to dedicate
more of their time and energy to the growing Christian community at their church
in London. It was during this spiritual retreat that Brian met his wife Laura,
an accomplished songwriter and musician, who shared Brian's faith and dedication
to God. The three began to worship together and naturally, began performing
together in a combination that proved to be truly inspirational.
The introduction of
Laura's talents, christened and nourished the roots of a new musical union and
His Season was born.
The trio's first
self-titled release is a rich harvest of original and traditional Christian
music. The performances are a testament of musical and spiritual growth that
proclaims their "heart for the lost and their vision for Canada".
Firmly rooted on
the banks of the rivers of water, they continue to progress and branch out in a
variety of styles with their second CD, "Stepping Up". The group describes this
ambitious new project as "the most anointed undertaking that they have ever been
a part of." Each new composition delivers on a promise to God and their
multiplying fans to continue their mission and share with the world the banquet
of fruit they bringeth forth in ... His Season
