About me:

Step back 148 years to the evening of November 10, 1861. It was a deceptively peaceful night in the sleepy little town of Guyandotte Virginia just hours before the town is attacked by Confederate Raiders and subsequently almost burned to the ground by Union Troops.

The Historic Guyandotte Candlelight Walking Tour will take place on November 6th & 7th 2009 during the 20th Anniversary of the Guyandotte Civil War Days.

The Historic Guyandotte Walking Tour is hosted by Huntington Paranormal in conjunction with Guyandotte Civil War Days. This free tour, open to the public and great for all ages, takes visitors on a journey through historic downtown Guyandotte. Visitors will get the chance to not only see some of the beautiful pre-Civil War era homes and churches, but tohear fascinating stories of their history, how they managed to survive the burning of Guyandotte, and the role of the town during the Civil War.

If you would like more information about the tour or to volunteer please contact us at Historic_Tours@HuntingtonParanormal.com or visit www.HuntingtonParanormal.com or www.GuyandotteCivilWarDays.com
