- Entre o suspense de Hitchcock e a sensação urbana das ruas da metrópole cinzenta. O Hitchcocks foi formado em São Paulo, Brasil, no ano de 2006, por amigos da mesma vizinhança maldita da Zona Leste da cidade. O som da banda tem influência do rock mais clássico das décadas de 50 e 60, surf music, psychobilly, garage rock e a sinistragem dos filmes B de terror e ficção científica. O grupo surgiu das cinzas de um projeto musical chamado Moon Patrol (1999-2002) que tinha em seu núcleo a mesma formação dos Hitchcocks atualmente. Bob Rodriguez ( guitar e voz ) , Nathan Borges ( bass ), Wasington Santos ( Bateria ) Alexandre Gabora ( synth organ). As composições do Hitchcocks são inspiradas em situações reais do cotidiano da metrópole cinzenta de São Paulo. A banda também possui temas instrumentais, sempre com elementos de terror/ficção científica, que servem como trilha sonora de filmes ou situações imaginárias ou biográficas.  Em 2008 a banda gravou um EP com doze faixas, mantendo o climão de surf music terror & ficção Cientifica e psychobilly, registrado e distribuído pela própria banda em shows e lojas especializadas. Em 2010 participaram das coletâneas Exotic Erotic Reverb Vol. 2 (Veneno Records, México) e No Way Out! (Dead By Mono, Inglaterra). Com apoio da produtora Kana Filmes, a banda gravou um DVD com entrevistas e quatro músicas ao vivo em estúdio. Em 2011 participa de mais uma complilação esse pela Sonata Magazine ( MARCOSURF ) Trazendo bandas da America do Sul e Central. CD + Revista. The group Hitchcocks was formed in 2006, in São Paulo, Brazil, from the same damned neighborhood in the capital's Lost Zone. The sound of the band has influences from 50s and 60s raw rock'n'roll, surf music, psychobilly, garage rock, post-punk and the dark side of horror and sci-fi flicks. The band rose from the ashes of another musical project called Moon Patrol (1999-2002), who had in its center Bob Rodriguez (guitar and vocals), Nathan Borges (guitar) and Washington Santos (drums). Now Bob still playing the guitar and singing, Nathan plays bass and Washington is responsible for the synthesizer effects, besides playing the trompet and percussion in some songs. They also counts with Marcio Fidelis on drums. Their compositions are inspired in situations of the everyday life in the cold and greysh São Paulo. The band also has instro themes, always with elements from horror/sci-fi that serves of musical scores for imaginary movies or situations. In 2008 the band recorded an EP with 12 songs, with its surf horror psych mood and excepts from B movies. Em 2010, registraram quatro músicas para o lançamento de um compacto em vinil de 7", mantendo o lema "faça você mesmo", Recentemente reconhecidos também internacionalmente com participação em um cd compilação Exotic Erotic Reverb 2 com a musica insólita city ( selo mexicano Veneno Records ) e recentemente saindo outro CD compilação ( No Way Out ) feito pela gravadora inglesa Dead By Mono, com a musica Lost Paradise ! A banda vem se apresentando no circuito independente com os festivais e casa noturnas com a recepção favoravel e animadora do publico que pode bater o pézinho até a cabeça durante as apresentações !!
