Hitchcoques – „Three people making music, and it sounds like they were ten“
Sound between Mozart and Motörhead – or is it more like Tori Amos?
Whether it oscillates between the three named artists or sounds (completely?) different is ultimately up to the listener to decide. Anyway – the Hitchcoques’ sound is definitely worth listening to, with its distorted basslines, the distorted piano and the powerful drums. The three musicians self-confidently comment their exciting and at the same time relaxing sound the following way: “Three people are making music, and it sounds as if they were ten”. Is the reason for this feat to be found in the diverse musical influences that have shaped the three band members’ experience of music? Diversity, in any case, is present as a leitmotif in the biography of all of the three musicians.
