The “Hitman” known only as Agent 47 (Tim Olyphant) is a genetically-engineered assassin who works for a mysterious organization called The Agency. 47 is both the last two digits of the barcode tattooed on the nape of his neck, and his only name.

A ruthless killing machine and the best at what he does, 47 has been trailed for years by a relentless Interpol agent (Dougray Scott). 47’s latest assignment embroils him in a far-reaching conspiracy. His assignment is further complicated when he is unexpectedly drawn to a beautiful damaged girl, Nika, who becomes a “random equation” in 47’s precision-fueled work and life.

Cast: Timothy Olyphant (Die Hard 4.0, Catch and Release, The Girl Next Door, Deadwood), Dougray Scott (Perfect Creature, Dark Water, Mission Impossible 2, Ever After), Olga Kurylenko (Ukrainian model; The Snake, Paris, Je t’aime), Robert Knepper (Prison Break), Ulrich Thomsen (Festen) and Michael Offei (Casino Royale).

The Countdown to the Movie is on

The winning band will receive:

  • Flights (if required) and accommodation in Sydney
  • 2 full days recording the winning track with a professional studio engineer at Damien Gerard Sound Studios
  • The winning killer track will feature in the Australian theatrical release of HITMAN, with the band’s MySpace URL on the end credits
  • A private, catered theatrette screening of HITMAN pre-release for the band and 20 mates
  • An Xbox 360 for the band with games Hitman: Blood Money and Kane & Lynch: Dead Men (From the creator of Hitman)
  • One weeks MySpace homepage exposure for the band 's profile
  • And if that's not enough … $5,000 cash!

 

The runner up bands receive:

  • Your band’s MySpace URL on the end credits of HITMAN in Australia
  • Double in-season movie passes to see HITMAN

I saw tht movie Hitman, I'm such a big fan of the Hitman games and I loved the movie... it was so good, so much action and good fightin scenes...

I was very excited when I heard about the existence of the Hitman movie because it was a long time coming, but I was disappointed to see that they deviated from the games story line, instead almost making 47 fighting temptation instead of a stone cold killer. And having those kids play Hitman while 47 swings thru the window was a tacky cliche. The movie could have been better!!! But the games are with no comparison.

hey, just saw the movie, it was F**KING awesome, well worth the wait
