Every Southern Rapper that has taken this game by the muthafuckin nuts!
UGK, Scarface, Master P, Juvenile, Cash Money, Mystikal, Pastor Troy, Michael "5000" Watts, and the list goes on....
Professionalism, a sinister determination, and the will to succeed at any cost are the three common traits of any successful hitman, and Chadd Dukes, the “Hitman of the South,” is about to lay claim to the worldwide rap phenomenon.
Dukes, born Chad Kontogeorgis, has been rapping his entire life, cutting his teeth on legendary artists Tupac Shakur, Snoop Dogg, and Dr. Dre, regardless of his location or circumstances. Raised in an impoverished single-parent household, Dukes never allowed anything to hinder him from his passion – writing and performing rap songs. The death of Shakur hit Dukes especially hard, taking away a mentor, and spurning a furious onslaught of Dukes’ talent.
After the formation and disbandment of Dukes’ first rap group, “Outlaw Clik,” Dukes joined the Air Force and was relocated to Germany, where in his spare time he began working on his yet-to-be released debut album, “No Love Shown.” Working with DJ Malik “DJ Whiz” Sultan, Dukes began mc’ing German clubs and collected a fevered following, gaining valuable performing and recording experience with his newly formed group the “Kuruption Klik.” Their song “Ride on ‘Em,” quickly became an underground anthem around West Germany.
Upon being relocated back to the U.S., Dukes continued to work on his debut, laying down the tracks “Hit Up”, “Get Paid”, “Undressed”, and “Shinin’ and Gleamin” with producers Kristopher Smith, Jay Ripper, and Lou Kane.
Seething with power, emotion, and hard-hitting beats, “No Love Shown” is a genuine rap artwork. Says Dukes, “I want people to see me laugh, cry, fight, and live. I know that I’m here for a reason, so I’m prepared to accept my destiny, whatever it may be, and live life to fullest.”
Look for “No Love Shown” to drop soon, and be prepared to reap the brutal truth of southern rap’s newest star.
