.. .............. NEWS! Danielle and Alexander have finished their new album "Hitman's Heel" which will be released on the 19th of Feb 2011 (Danielles birthday). The new songs can be described as a wild mixture of road songs, whispered ballads and gypsy tunes. Hacke de Picciotto have gone back to basics. They will be traveling the world for some time to look for new horizons and their lyrics deal with being a nomad, having no home and what is left after you have given up everything superfluous. To be completely flexible their songs are based on their instruments -guitar, piano , autoharp and drums - no backings, no electroclash - very simple -straight to the heart. Chris Hughes from Fatal Shore accompagnies them on drums in Europe, in the US Vincent Signorelli (Unsane) on drums and Algis Kizys (Swans) on bass. A long tour is being booked. ....For booking enquiries please contact andrea@magnet-musik.de Danielle de Picciotto and Alexander Hacke are always interested in particpating in interesting performances, installations or residencies and can give lectures and workshops on their work.
