Hit-nRun was formed in Great Falls, Montana in November 2005. Sara Seekins, Matt McDonald and Steve Johnson had formed the "Hitman Horns" as a back up horn section for bands playing in Great Falls. Tired of playing backup they decided to form their own band. First recruited Chicago native Tom Halvorsen as guitarist. They were then joined by Brian Christensenon Drums . Hit-n-Run had their premeire at the Great Falls club "The Loading Zone" April 1st 2006. Since then they have played "The Max", "The Beacon Ice House", "Machinery Row Underground Lounge" and "The Black eagle Community Center". Tom left the band in June 2007 and Hit-n-Run was fortunate to have Highwood native Gary Huffman join the band in July 2007 on lead Guitar.
In July 2008 Sara moved out to west coast and after a month of auditions Fairfield native, DJ Forseth came on board to add her vocal talents and keyboard to the band.
Brian Abbott joined the band in Feb. 2009 as our new bass player. Brian hails from Memphis Tennessee and brings his Beale Street background to Hit-n-Run.
With the cool funky sound of the horns and the rockin screamin guitars Hit-n-Run lays down a wide variety of sound built around a danceable beat. From classic R&B to hard driving rock with a unique brass sound the band delivers a sound hard to find in Montana.
Hit -n- Run decided after all the personal changes to disband in Sept. 2009.

actually down in Billings at the moment.... I fly to Salt Lake tomorrow for a job interview, then back to Billings on the 7th, over to Missoula Friday, Spokane Saturday for the Griz game, then back to Great Falls on Tuesday. Busy Busy Busy.......
