Hitomi review in Rock Sound – 20th May 2009
“Hailing from Barnsley, Hitomi subscribe to the melodic hard rock school of entertainment and consequently will certainly appeal to fans of Slaves to Gravity, Brigade and Fightstar. There’s a dangerous urgency to Hitomi’s sound, mixing anthemic choons, some wicked fret work and some promising songs. Already clocking up some impressive tour miles in the back of the van, these guys are doing all the right things to build themselves into a solid band, even if the name sounds like a character from Sonic the Hedgehog. By the time you read this there will be new tunes online. What are you waiting for?! DS

Hey! We are Hitomi, born in 2007. We play our own music that we thought up all by ourselves and we are pretty damn proud of it! :)
We self released our first Album 'SAVE FACE' in May 2008 and gained recognition in national press such as Rock Sound and played all over the UK.
We are currently writting for our second album which we have just signed to record with Play Work Productions. We will be flying over to the USA in February 2010 for just over 3 weeks and it should be available early next summer!
So this is our myspace page, thanks for visiting! We look after it all by ourselves so drop us a comment or a message if you want to get in touch!
Our debut CD is available NOW! We really enjoyed writing the songs and recording it with our producer Tim Speight and think all you guys should check it out! Its available online through our store (link to the left) or messaging us for postal orders, at gigs, and by stalking any of the band members.
Cheers, Hitomi

"Every song starts out with a really great intro, and the rest of the song is definitely not putting you down. The guitar riffs are great. With annother word a great cd."
Nicola Hamblett, 16 from Barnsley said:
"Hitomi's album is a masterpiece, created by four of the best lads this side of the world. Six tracks that you just have to sing along to, make sure you have a copy. You won't regret it."

".....catchy melodies that fit the riffs....."
".....got heavy and melodic working well together without diluting each other....."
