We not only have a new drummer, and a new ablum, we have abbreviated our name to YAM, which will look better on t-shirts and drumheads. Now take us back into the loving folds of HIT records please.

Hi Hit! Greetings from the korean jazz band. Great rockn'roll you're making devoted more to music than sound, which these days' rock band lack. Thanks for the add. Best wishes.

i liked it much better when I was only one of four friends on the hit records myspace page. now, my comments get lost in the rubble. At least i know now why you played that bass line on the album that sounds just like Michael Jackson's Billy Jean. Speaking of my record, shouldn't it have come out by now? It's been nearly two years...

Please help!

Our provided "tour bus" - a '73 Chevy pick up with 3 on the tree, has broken down here in Iowa. To make matters worse, our tour manager got freaked out when he got confused and thought Iowa was short for Iwo Jima. He held us at gun point, took our bass guitar and shouted that we wouldn't take him alive.

On the bright side, the last show at Smokey's Red Barn Feed Store went ok.

Please wire some of your Massive Corporate $$$ pronto.
Kenneth

Fine. I'll compromise and play "Sister Ray" on a series of musical saws.

Dammit.
the cut*off

Apr 2 2007 4:28 AM

We think that Hit Records and the cut*off are a combination that could only be controlled by the love child of Don Henely and Right Said Fred. World Dominatrix is inevitable. Glad to be riding 1st class with you guys to Awesomeville.

Sorry about the previous message, we've just finished our nightmare ride with booze and pills, and we see everything in a different perspective. Plus, now that we are and indie band, no more fellatio. Can you take us back? We've already fired our drummer even.

I agree, on the condition I can play Lou Reed's Metal Machine Music in its entirety. Just, you know, to be effing difficult.

Bon Jour Corporate Rock Icons,

Thank you for the 6:47 time slot in the Enormodome Showcase. I apologize for my label mates and their unhappiness with their contracts. I am happy to only owe Hit Records International $467,866. I'm sure my 9.5 points will eventually cover it. However, I must decline your offer to record a cover of Michael Jackson's "Beat It", even though it does have a hot bass line for Salim.

Thank you for your Corporate Support!

Remember when we started working with you guys a couple weeks ago? It was all about the artist, and making a body of work and a sound that would last through the ages. You said we had all the time we needed. So we set out to create the first rock album entirely played on ass-horns, and we are almost completed with our sonic experimentation.

But now I think you were just telling us what we wanted to hear. It seems that you are just like every other label out there, and it's all about the money.

Here we are, getting bumped from our 5:13 slot on the showcase for some teenage schoolgirl-hooker act. What kind of cred do we have playing sloppy seconds to the next Britney?

And then there's the record contract. We must have signed that under some kind of false pretenses, your lawyer said "it's all pretty standard stuff" so we believed him. My dad was so pissed off at me for signing it he made me mow the lawn.

I can tell you exactly what we are gonna do, we are going to take our music and our bongs and go elsewhere. We are going to be the Artist Formerly Known as You & Me. I will come by and pick up my guiro and Big Muff now. See you around.
