All music I hear, most of all eclectic artists that are not afraid of a bit of experimentation like The Beatles, Frank Zappa and Ennio Morricone. Other influences are Cliff Gallup, Syd Barrett, Dick Dale, surf/instro-music in general, Link Wray, Mick Ronson, John Zorn and Art Pepper. My interest in instrumental surf music was arisen after watching the movie Pulp Fiction by Quentin Tarantino. The energy of Dick Dale's guitar playing in "Misirlou" made a big impression. From that moment on, I started to include the power, the lightness and the pure fun of surf into my own instrumentals.

Thank you for visiting my page. You'll find some of my surf/instro tunes here. Most are from my self-titled solo CD, which contains a mix of instrumentals and indie rock songs. In my new solo work I do instrumentals only and keep the vocal stuff for the bands I'm playing in.
