Generally, everything I hear. More specific: surf/instro, 60's & 70's soundtracks (Ennio Morricone, John Barry, Lalo Schifrin, Henry Mancini, Jerry Goldsmith), Cliff Gallup, Syd Barrett, Dick Dale, Link Wray, John Zorn, Juan Garcia Esquivel, Art Pepper, ...
Thank you for visiting my page. You'll find some of my surf/instro tunes here. Some are from my self-titled solo CD, which contains a mix of instrumentals and indie rock songs. In my new solo work I do instrumentals only and keep the vocal stuff for the bands I'm playing in. For more info, please visit the HJ-Tones website.
"The Man With The Surfodot" is a fun track with delicate muted guitar playfully dribbling out a dry melody line that's very compelling.
This song is delicate, yet compelling. The pulsing bass line and drums are well suited for the melody, and the modern keys also seem to
