Hey missy, I am going to be in the bay area for 6 weeks starting towards the end of May 09, and I am in need of a home. There's a chance I'll be renting my friend's place in Berkeley since he'll be gone, but if not, I need to go neighborhood-hunting. You think you could lend a hand by letting me know about some affordable/close to UCBerkeley by bike neighborhoods in either Oakland or Berkeley? I know nothing!
