About me:
Co-hosts Steve Haggard and Kimberly King are very pleased to present THE HAGGARD & KING RADIO HOUR... every Tuesday afternoon from 4:00-5:00 PM (Central Time). ********************************************************** The program can be heard live on the internet via streaming audio by visiting www.radiofreenashville.org, and clicking the "Listen Online" link. ********************************************************** In and around Nashville, Tennessee, you can also listen to the show on RADIO FREE NASHVILLE (WRFN / 107.1 on your FM dial). *******************************************************
Steve & Kimberly present a truly eclectic hour of music that pays little - if any - attention to
genre. In the course of a show, you may well hear Americana, blues, country, rock 'n'roll, folk,
R&B, traditional music from Ireland or Scotland, reggae, rockabilly, something from the swing
era, Tex-Mex, a singer from France or Italy or Brazil, a bit of bluegrass or Cajun music,
jump blues or classic pop or alternative or Dixieland or southern rock or Dixieland... you get the idea! **********************************************************
The playlist always includes some independent and local artists, as well as established ones.
And although you'll very likely hear some songs that you know, even when playing well-known
artists the show tends to present their lesser-known material... the idea being to introduce the
listeners to great music that they may not have heard, and to expand their musical horizons. **********************************************************
In addition to recorded music, THE HAGGARD & KING RADIO HOUR includes live music and
interviews, special guests in the studio, "roving request" segments recorded in and around
Nashville, phone-ins, etc.
