I do karate. It's highly unlikely that I am harder than you because of that, but I have just got a lovely blue belt.
Have you seen my little sports car FastBerry? FastBerry has no roof or doors, and is very noisy. A grin came free.
I have a small army of toy Daleks (I bought them for my kids, honest) and a Beosystem hi-fi, on which I like to play classical music, loudly.
Music
Currently wired into my car's stereo is an iPod Shuffle. The range of songs it contains almost always makes people go 'Huh?'
Movies
I'll watch anything. I have no taste whatsoever.
Television
I am currently enjoying Doctor Who, Ugly Betty, Desperate Housewives and Heroes. Most of them are coming to the end of their latest runs. Maybe then I'll get a life.
Books
I love to read. I pick books from the library based on their titles and covers. Sometimes this results in a real find (step forward Harlan Coben), but more often than not, crashing disappointment. Two books I will be reading, though, are these ones, because my stories are actually in them!
About me: I am the world's youngest grumpy old man. I like to moan, a lot, about almost everything. You'll find lots of evidence in my blog. If you'd chosen accountancy for a living, you'd be the same. I even do my painting by numbers.
I also like to write erotic short stories. I even sell some of them. I have been published at Ruthies Club, Clean Sheets, The Erotic Woman and Oysters & Chocolate. You can find my early efforts at Erotic Stories and on Stories Online. My stories are featured in two new print anthologies, Erotic Tales 2 by Justus Roux and the Mammoth Book of Lesbian Erotica, both available at Amazon.
For more about me and some free stories, check out my website (if you're a fan of my Nightgirl stories, you'll find that she has a page there all to herself!).
I live in a small town in Yorkshire, England, with my wife, who knows I write erotica, and two small children, who don’t. Harry, my cat, doesn’t care what I write as long as he gets fed regularly.
H.L. Berry is, inevitably, a pseudonym, though I am so indiscreet that almost all of my friends know I write this sort of thing anyway. I quite like the air of mystery, though.
Who I'd like to meet: I love to chat with other authors, and people who have read my stories. If you enjoy that sort of thing, do drop me a line or feel free to add me as a friend. I'm shamelessly easy.
It's a rainy Friday here. Great weather for writing. I'm waiting for the proof copy of A Demon Awaits to arrive and just getting down to work on my next book.
Happy Birthday from one roaring Leo to another. Keep those erotic words flowing! ps - I adore your fancy car and know no other writer who owns such a beast...I'm guessing it was financed by your legitimate career. So, keep on rollin', too.
Things are going well here. I visited with two book groups this week and talked about Sin and Vengeance even though it's been out for almost three years. We talked with Marla Cukor, the screenwriter who is working on the film adaptation. I'm not sure who enjoyed the meetings most, but we all got a lot out them.
