Her Memorial Discourse was founded in March 2009 by Erik and Reef. They searched members for a while and after few tryouts, Mehis and Claude joined the band. In August 2009 they recorded their first song "Circle of Lies". In October 2009, firstly Iisak joined to band as a replacement, but soon got full-time member. With Iisak they recorded their 2nd demo-song "I don't need love to disappoint in..."
Their style can be described as: "metalcore with melodic guitar riffs spiced with massive hard-hitting breakdowns".. though their songs have influences from many other genres, even from pop-music itself!
