About me:
We are the crew of the H.M.S. Jasper. Fawndolyn, Jane, and Captain Valentine. Just because we are ladies does not mean we aren't tough. All beautiful flowers have thorns.
Our story begins with tragedy.
It was a rainy, rainy evening when we set sail over the Atlantic in search of adventure. The wind was whipping our hair, the smell of salt flew through our sinuses, and there was a fierce electricity in the air.
Too fierce.
Before we knew it, we were in the midst of a terrible storm that threw the HMS all over the skies. And poor Captain Jasper...
I warned her that it was too dangerous, that we would make it without the backup line, but she just had to go out on the blimp to tie off some loose ends. Her body was never found.
Captain Jasper Diello will always be in our memories.
I am Fawndolyn, your trusty airship mechanic, and mighty fine sawist, if you don't mind me saying. I will hand the keyboard over to the others in a moment.
It's my duty (hehe, doodie) to make sure the engines of the ship are in perfect working order. I also provide musical entertainment. We recently found an accordion that I'm fiddling with. How exciting! Okay, I'll let you meet Jane now.
Salutations. I'm Jane, the ship's navigator. I make sure we get where we're going in a timely fashion (though timely is used loosely here- we have all the time in the world). I also dabble in a bit of alchemy. Curing ailments and producing concoctions gives me a special bliss, and no, it's not the fumes, I assure you. We get plenty of fresh air up here. Just ask the captain after she puts out that cigarette.
GREETINGS ALL! This is your Captain speaking. Valentine's the name. Pleasure to meet you. I inherited this beauteous vessel from my cousin Diello (but that's Cap'n Jasper to the rest of you). Yeah, we're all related in some way or another. 6 degrees or something like that. Those that don't call me Captain Valentine call me The Bandit, but who knows where they got that from. Honestly, heist a couple of crates from a moving train and suddenly you get an honorary nickname.
So that's all of us. Please make yourself comfortable, enjoy the ride, and join us for tea sometime.
