I don't smoke crack either!!! Thats a good working class man song, I love those. Jim Croce is one of my favorites and those were his specialty. Go is great, I love the stripped down sound. A simple recording with a simple message to your son, its great.
Thanks for the add!! Listened to your music, it is AWESOME too! I will post your link on myspace profile to help spread the word for you!!! Thanks again and keep it up!!
Hello daddy Ayewrite!! Love the video!! How's everything? It has been a while! ...my fault- work's keeping me away from music way too much! have a spooky weekend!! =)
Oi Oi! How you doing man? Long time no speak. I'm trying to have a different name for each day of the week :) Good to see that you've still got some great stuff on here, Warren
Thanks loads fer befriending me, my simian friend. I listened to a couple of your songs too, and I'm liking what I'm hearing. That's quite an impressively large collection you've got up there. It may take me a while to get through it all. [I gotta get me one of those players...being limited to 10 songs is a pain.] The violin playing on my page that you praised was done by my niece Laura, a classical musician and violin teacher in Ottawa who is way more versatile on the instrument than your average classical music type. All those live tracks I have up are from a concert I did with 9 other musicians getting on and off the stage in various configurations, playing the stuff together for the first time right there on stage. (I ran over the tunes individually with each musician...but we never rehearsed together.) As for Laura's violin, I just sent her MP3s by email, and the first time I heard her parts was the same time as the audience, when she played them in concert. It was quite exciting to perform that way, and I'm really glad I managed to find someone to do a decent recording of the concert. That configuration of musicians will likely never happen again.
It died??? Ah, monkey, how you amuse me . Hope everything's going well. I'll be by to check out the new tunes. You make them up faster than I can listen!
cheers man, nah was great for the festival, proper leather aussie hat, kept the rain off hee hee plus looked quite good perversely with the kilt hahaha
Hey Mr. Numpty, Loved the video, loved the song but quit putting that guitar in the dryer. It's getting a wee bit...wee. PS: How come YOUR kid's so good looking???
Hi paul, I had a listen this morning to 1 second first. i thought it was really nice, the jazzy feel was brilliant. It kind of took me back to the summer of '84 when I got cafe Bleu by the style Council. The vocals surprised me a bit, I expected you to start singin "3 wheels on my wagon" in that slightly gruff sound. Good song.
My fav of the two was Blood is red, it had that kind of romantic melody which I love in "All the time in the world". Again as in the last song, your wee acoustic sounds great and just reminds me of a rounded pebble bouncing down a continental harbour street.. I think this must be my favourite song of yours so far, the sensitivity in it is great.
