Hoaxwind are a seven piece tribute band playing the songs of the mighty space rockers, Hawkwind.
Playing tracks mainly from their ‘classic’ 70’s period, they recreate the sights, sounds and smells of their hypnotic and unpredictable live shows, creating a “rich and complex sound that bubbles, squawks, enchants, captivates, engulfs and rocks”, as someone once said.
Current set includes:
Orgone Accumulator, Angels of Death, Master of the Universe, Ejection, Kerb Crawler, Brainstorm, Hassan I Sabha, Assault & Battery, Death Trap, Shot Down in the Night and, of course, Silver Machine, as well as many others.

Please buy a ticket for Nik Turner (ex Hawkwind) , Champignon (ex Ozric Tentacles) and Whimwise the psychedelic orchestra. All playing at a special christmas charity benefit show in Portsmouth for sending wheelchairs to the disabled in Africa.
Many of whom are otherwise left immobile and uncatered for, - having to beg in the streets to survive.
A stock of wheelchairs has been sourced but money is needed to help with the expensive costs of getting them out to Africa. Please support if possible.

Adviruz is the artist psedonym of Istanbul’s Pinar Gurcan, whose growing passion for sound is translated through her music. Since an early age, she has been listening and mimicking opera singers, writing melodies, songs and poems in which she spoke her mind and reflected her soul. All of which are evident on "Nightly Sounds", an 8 track album which is the equivilent of having a glimpse into a diary, learning of love lost, gained, a snapshot of the human condition from which we can all draw experience... All of these things are developed musically into minimalistic glitch, noise, idm, experimental music and microsounds, its influences reminiscent of work by artists like Tujiko Noriko, Mira Calix, Plaid and Björk.
