I'll be dedicating 2 hours of my radio show to Hobble this Friday, April 10th, 6-8pm...then I will be at Creekside Lounge for the last Hobble show ever.
Creekside Lounge show was great...45 minutes of Hobble...couldn't ask for any more out of the whole SX festival...thanx for 12 years of unadulterated great Austin heavy jams...my hope is you will reunite again in the future
I moved to Austin after Katrina without knowing a soul, with the exception of one good fellow, who told me on my very first weekend here, "go see Hobble at the Ritz."
Hobble was my first show in Austin, fall of 05.
Thanks to that show at that bar, and this band, my life took a turn for the better and I've since accumulated the most incredible family of friends that anyone could possibly ever dream of.
You guys were among my first family here and I love each and every one of you for being both friend and family to me.
I'm super sad to see this chapter end but eternally grateful for all the fantastic times and this beautiful life you afforded me.
I love you, all and I just wanted to say thank you for all you've brought to my life.
