HOBOFEST 08' 's Interests

| General | This Year Hobofest will be held from Sept.5th-Sept.7th. Advance Tickets are now on sale for $40. Anyone interested leave me a note and I will give an address to send a self addressed stamped envelope. The tickets will be $50 at the gate. There is a kick-ass pre-party on Sept 4th for $15. So come a day early and get a head start.

About me:
I have been getting Questions on how to get To Lee's Park Campground. It is in Saratoga Springs New York. Take 87 to exit 14 go until you see Lee's and signs. If you get to the race track turn around and go about 4 miles the other way. The fest is right between Spac and Saratoga Downs Racetrack. If you have any questions let me know.. I will have directions for you on-line soon..
This year is a whole new road for Hobofest. There once again are incredible bands coming from all over the states. I am amazed at the line-up. Tickets are $50 at the gate and I will soon be setting up on-line purchasing for $40. Once again I want to thank Lee's Park Campground for letting this happen. I want to thank The Groovelink for all there help and support. I am here for ya... So for now take a listen to some of what is happening Hobofest weekend. Solar Jam Productions I owe a Huge high 5 for making this event Green. The main stage will be powered by THE SUN.. Solar power, can't beat it. Strangers Helping Strangers will be there collecting Non-Perishable Food Items to donate to the local food bank.. Every person that brings 20 items or more will get a discount on your ticket price. They way I look at it, If you haven't already used it you don't need it. Let us all join together and help some needy families out.. To all the bands and people that make this happen I thank you. As always there are simple rules.... 1) Party smart. (2) Have fun. that is easy. No tanks, fireworks, all that jazz you have heard a million times before.
On a much more serious note,, a great friend of the Festival circuit Patty has passed on, this is very sad news and our Brother Rack is stepping up to do a benefit show in her honor. It will also be located at Lee's Park Campground so check in with the Rack-n Friends site for more details. And from the Hobofest crew and friends Patty you will be dearly missed
