Big HB started in the rap game in the late 80s. He released his debut album entitled, "City by tha Sea" in 2003, under At-Last V.I.P Entertainment, an independent label based out of Long Beach, CA. His debut album made number 14 on the Music Review U.I.M.R.A top 25 charts. He also received an overall album rating: of 3.5 / 5 from dubcnn.com.
Big HB has done songs with artist such as Tray Dee, RBX, Badazz, E-White and many more. Hobo's music has touched people in Southern CA, Northern CA, Franklinton & Hammond Louisiana, Little Rock Arkansas, and as far as Japan with his heart felt lyrics, and inspirational beats.
Hobo has performed at various clubs such as
the Hollywood Athletic Club, where he helped Kelvin Anderson launch his compilation which was titled after Big HBs song, "A Meeting with the world." Also he has appeared at Club Lounge Rae, Club 49, Hollywood Park Casino, Jim Browns F.O.C.U.S/Amer-I-Can 1st Annual picnic, The Long Beach, CA, Herb Smith Memorial Slow Pitch Tournament, and the Willie McGinniss Super Bowl Party.
