HoboRec from the start
From the beginning Ulf and Björn had some equipment to do simple recordings. We thought we'd help other bands that couldn't afford a professional studio, since our philosophy is that it's worthless spending loads of money for young bands whom often barely haven't figured out what the songs should sound like. Instead they could come to us, spending a small amount of money just relaxing and have time to think trough the whole process. It was a good idea and many bands in the local area now saw their opportunity to take the step to record their first demo. Since then we've recorded albums and ep's with bands like Exhale, Herbrightskies, M:40, Inevitable End and of course grace.will.fall
The label
Ulf and Björn play in the band grace.will.fall, and at the time they had recorded some songs and sludge/doom masters Counterblast recorded a song to make a split. We figured that we could release the split 7 inch ourselves and after that we have also supported other bands and labels to release records.
The distro
The distro was started to trade records with other labels to spread the music we record and help spreading other peoples music. If you want to have your records in our distro without trading we could surely work that out as well. We will try to make the distro larger to be able to offer some quality record shopping!
