Hobo Stew is a zine dedicated to supporting extreme metal and helping underground bands get promotion. With the massive pit known as the internet many bands get lost. We want to bring the good bands out of the pit and let everyone know about em! Thank all of you for your patience and support!

If you want to have your band's material reviewed:
Send me a message on here or email me at hobostewzine@gmail.com. I will then provide you with an address to send stuff to. I prefer that you mail me actual CDs/tapes/records/whatever but I will review mp3's if you can send me an actual download-able file of them. I cannot listen to the music on Myspace because I have a 5 GB month limit (damn you Verizon) and it's not friendly with streaming.
What to expect from a review:
Whoever ends up reviewing your material will not kiss your ass. It will be reviewed for what it is. We understand that funds are usually low with underground bands so production and some other things that are understandable are not an issue. If it sucks, though, no reviewer will hesitate to say so. If you want a good fluffy rainbow-time review for mommy to put on the refrigerator this isn't the place to send your music.
If you want an interview for your band/zine:
Send me a message/email telling me you want an interview. Have some way for me to listen to your music (see above in the review section) and then I will decide if I want to interview you.
On friend requests:
I will not accept friend requests from metalcore/deathcore/nu-metal/whatever bands. I see that as spam and your ass will get marked as so.
Things that are not accepted:
NS/Racist bands. Your personal beliefs are your own but I will not be one to support them.
Do you want to write for us?
If you want to write a review, do an interview, or write an editorial, please send me a message on here or through email containing your article. If I feel like it fits then I'll put it up. When you send me your article please send me your name, as I'd like to actually credit you with writing what ya wrote.
Do you want your music on our Myspace player?
Send me a message/email containing some way of obtaining what song you want on our player. This cannot be streaming as I need the actual file.
How much does an issue of Hobo Stew cost?
It's free! Any money you wish to send will be given to Noah's Arc, a no-kill animal shelter located in eastern TN.
How can I get a copy?
If you wish to order a copy of Hobo Stew send us a message here on Myspace containing your name and address. Hobo Stew is free, so it may take a bit of time to get to you, especially if you are overseas, as we have to come up with funds to pay for postage. Hobo Stew can also be found at various book/CD stores throughout eastern TN, which will be listed shortly. We also may be appearing at various metal shows/festivals, and will specify if we do.
