Ray's Interests
General
I am not interested in anything , anymore. Just when I think I am happy... I realize happiness is something totally different than I thought it was.
Music
I prefer heavy metal, but I also enjoy some classical. Some of my favorite bands are : Rammstein, Judas Priest, Dio, Ozzy, Nickleback, Breaking Benjamin, Lacuna Coil, Evanescence, and a LOT more.
As for the classical, I like chamber music and guitar. I really love the old style Flamenco guitar, like Paco De Lucia. I think I can sit and watch a guitar player pretty much all day.
Movies
I love to go to the movies so I cant say I have just one that I like above all others. I will say that Tombstone was an excellent flick. I like movies like The Matrix, Tombraider, Lord of the Rings, etc.
I am not too much into the "chick flicks" but Id never say no to taking a lady to see a movie she wanted to see.
Television
Television is the most wasted invention ever made. It brings nothing but corruption and lies into the world. If we ,as people, would stop watching TV then we would accomplish more with our lives. We see lies every day and we believe what we see as the truth. We were taught that Russians were our enemy and we saw that for years on the TV ... Russia isnt our enemy, Germany isnt our enemy, China isnt our enemy... TV is our enemy. We see more hate-propaganda and lies than the truth. To know the truth is to go and see it for yourself. Take a trip to any other country and see how they live, THEN see who is the enemy.

Heroes
I have no heros, I worship no false-gods , I am me. Very seldom do you hear of a hero, and then the real heros are soon forgotten. A man that saves a life from a burning car is a hero... a lady that brings a child into the world is a hero... Doctors that save people are heros... Sports figures are not heros, movie stars are not heros, and models are not heros. They are here for our entertainment and that is all they are good for, to entertain. A true hero is someone who does something that is a benefit to the world around him or her and doesnt think about it, they do it out of love and reaction. A true hero is the working man who stays with his family through the bad times and the good times and always prepares for his family. Heros are those that shed tears and blood for a cause that will transcend the world... not their own life. Heros make the world a better place for everyone.
Back in Texas... and relaxing. Waiting for the next great adventure. Life , for me , couldnt be better ... but you never know what tomorrow may bring... IF you get a chance at a tomorrow.

In a biology class, the professor was discussing the high glucose levels found in semen which gives the sperm all the energy for their journey.
A female freshman raised her hand and asked, "If I understand you correctly, you're saying there is a lot of glucose, as in sugar, in semen?" "That's correct," responded the professor, going on to add statistical info. Raising her hand again, she asked, "Then why doesn't it taste sweet?"
After a stunned silence, the whole class burst out laughing. The poor girl's face turned bright red, and as she realized exactly what she had inadvertently said (or rather implied), she picked up her books without a word and walked out of class. However, as she was going out the door, the professor's reply was classic. Totally straight-faced he answered her question. "It doesn't taste sweet because the taste buds for sweetness are on the tip of your tongue and not the back of your throat. Have a good day. "
