Hoerste started his musical career in the fields of non-electronical music and instruments. After learning to play a guitar and to handle notes in his early years, he decided to switch to trumpet for several years and found himself being a percussionist in the end. He founded a band and named it Die Hoerste. It was in 1993 when the band dissolved, the percussion was sold and the first records of electronical music found their way to the brand-new record players.
In November of 1994 he appeared to be the very first Resident-DJ in todays legendary club of MUNA (www.muna.de) where he loved to show a still uninformed crowd his world of House and Techno sounds.
Since this time he is responsible for booking of artists, bands etc. in the MUNA. His consistent urge for perfection and high quality was and is a considerable contribution to the clubs success. His excellent taste of music finally led to a superb reputation in the scene.
Today he cooperates with producers and organizers. His appearances on multiple festivals and being an old-established DJ on SonneMondSterne and Melt! led to first international bookings. He travelled Asia and Italy where the crowds loved his skillfull melodic mixings and kicking minimal house and techno sounds.
