There's not much we aren't interested in. We've got hundreds of academic programs, Division I NCAA sports, tons of student activities and an active campus.
Music
A little bit of everything, but especially the music coming out of our Department of Music.
Movies
The movies of Francis Ford Coppolla, anything with Madeline Kahn or Lainie Kazan, flicks put out by Avi Arad's studio, and whatever Christopher Albrecht's channel is airing. Besides our alumni's films (and those with former Hofstra student Christopher Walken), we also enjoy the movies coming out of the Department of Audio/Video/Film.
Television
Big fans of Hofstra alum Phil Rosenthal's "Everyone Loves Raymond," as well as our on-campus newscast "News and Views," and the rest of the offerings from the Department of Audio/Video/Film.
Books
When we aren't busy with our text books, we're reading Nelson DeMille, George Vescey, and Marilyn French, all Hofstra graduates.
Heroes
It's a long list, but you can be certain that many of them chose Hofstra University for their college experience, including several U.S. politicians, inventors, star athletes, activists and business leaders.
